SUSPICIOUS x TAKUMI
INTRODUCTION
In a unique blend of culinary art and fashion, we are thrilled to announce the launch of a temporary Japanese restaurant in Takumi, a collaborative project with actor Ed Westwick and the innovative clothing brand, Suspicious Antwerp. This exciting venture promises a unique fusion of mouth-watering Japanese cuisine, coupled with a special collection of Japan-inspired apparel from Suspicious Antwerp.
ED WESTWICK’S INVOLVEMENT
Ed Westwick, best known for his role in the hit series “Gossip Girl”, is not just an actor; he is also a passionate foodie with a particular love for Japanese cuisine. For this project, Westwick is more than just a celebrity endorsement; he’s involved in every aspect of the restaurant, from menu selection to the ambience. His specific vision for an authentic and immersive Japanese dining experience is what sets this pop-up event apart from others.
THE CULINARY EXPERIENCE AT TAKUMI
Our pop-up restaurant will be located in a few Takumi’s, widely known for its rich culinary culture. We aim to provide an unforgettable dining experience by offering a curated menu of traditional and contemporary Japanese dishes. Our goal is to ensure every plate embodies the spirit of Japanese cuisine – meticulous presentation, fresh ingredients, and a harmony of flavors.
THE SUSPICIOUS ANTWERP COLLABORATION
The Fresku x Takumi collaboration was marked by a listening event at the Eindhoven branch of Takumi Ramen. Here, fans had the chance to listen to Fresku’s latest tracks while indulging in Takumi’s comforting ramen bowls. Alongside the event, exclusive merchandise was released, further solidifying the partnership’s unique blend of music and gastronomy. This collaboration was not only an innovative marketing move but also a celebration of craftsmanship, dedication, and generosity that both entities embody.
